Fun times

Well we have had a very snowy year so far. About 12-16 total maybe more. The kids love it. We have kept really busy. Both kids are growing and doing great.
Sophia is reading very well and loves it. She is also doing really well in gymnastics and moved up a level.
Dexter is turning into mr personality and mr throw a fit!! He is so fun and full of energy, but man If he wants something he will work you until you give in!! The other night while trying to get him to sleep he looked at me and screamed NO. NO. NOOOOOO. He is talking a bit more but nowhere near what Sophia was at this age!! But he gets his point across and let's us know what he wants!! His vocabulary includes dad, mama, maw maw, paw, eat, snack , woody, buzz, Dixie, sis and a few others!!

All the snow has created a lot of snow days. Which means extra snuggle days!!!

I saw fire

Mom I ran my hand across my blanket and it made fire.
Sophia it's called static electricity
Well whatever it is it was cool!!

Christmas time this year was nice. Dexter actually opened his gifts. The boy loves balls, trains and cars. It's awesome to see them both grow.
My children amaze me on a daily basis.
Sophia is such a loving caring and giving child. Way putting others needs before herself. She is such an amazon gift.
Dexter is learning g to say a few words and cuddling a lot more. My favorite thing is that when you tell him to give goodnight hugs and kisses he goes to everyone of us and hugs and kisses us all!!

This past year has been tough emotionally financially and physically but with the amazing family we have, nothing can stop us!!
Here's to 2014 being awesome!

Mom this is a true story. Hayden fought a coyote
Me: who won
Sophia: not Hayden he was scratched like ten times on his foot
Me: well I hope he's ok
Sophia: he is. I think he won.

Teeth

Sophia ran in from school today and screamed "mom I lost my tooth at school!" She told me she was in computer class playing starfall like she always does an she felt a pop. She felt and her tooth fell out. She said it was bleeding so she got toilet paper but not the wet kind!! What a kid.

Today I am staying home with my sweet little boy. He makes me smile! It's a cold wet rainy day and we are going to do some snuggling!!

Sleepover

Tonight was Sophia's first birthday sleepover. It went well. A bit crazy but fun. Daphnee and Brooklyn were here all evening and the girls did great!! Loved it!!

Tiny dancer

As I sit here with dex getting him to sleep there is music playing on tv. He starts to shake his hips as if he is trying to dance!!! This kids got moves. Even in his sleep!!
